Walk It Off
While there is a lot of beauty that comes with winter, it can also be very tough. The short days, the bitter cold, colds. But once in a while there comes a day where the elements are bearable, and on those days it’s nice to go for a walk. It’s so simple, but the effects are anything but.
For the solo walk, it helps to pick a place that is scenic. Nothing crazy, but something that’s gonna catch any one of your senses. And if you are anything like me, there is nothing better than listening to a good playlist. We all have those songs that make us feel like we can fly, and a good walk can give you the peace of mind to find clarity and remember why you fell in love with them in the first place.
For the group walk, there is no better (and safer) way to catch up with your loved ones during this time. A good one on one chat that seamlessly transitions to a group story can truly transport you to pre-pandemic times. And the best part? Anywhere will do.
It doesn’t have to be long and it doesn’t have to be elaborate. It just has to get you somewhere. The original great escape.
